Dance for MS: Scottish Ballet

Here are some upcoming dates for Scottish Ballet's dance classes, aimed at people living with MS.

Led by experienced Dance Health artists, these interactive classes aim to develop balance, mobility and freedom of movement as well as mental and social wellbeing.

The classes are delivered in Arbroath (Webster Memorial Theatre) and Dundee (Menzieshill Community Hub) , as well as online. See dates below.

Here's what a few previous participants have said:

"The class gives me a sense of achievement which improves my mood and motivation, as well as physically giving me a positive energy. Although I am tired after the class it is different to the overwhelming fatigue I often have."

"The classes are great and have helped me mentally as much as physically."

No dance experience is required, and the movement is fully adaptable to meet your needs. These sessions are seated with the option to stand if desired and you are welcome to bring along a companion. You can join the programme at any point – you do not need to attend from the beginning.

Online classes are: Fridays at 10am via Zoom.

Arbroath classes: selected Tuesdays at 11am (11th August, 27th October, 1st December, 16th March).

Dundee classes: selected Fridays at 11am (28th August, 30th October, 4th December, 26th February).
